A position has become available within a YOT that requires a particularly talented and vibrant Social Worker who is predominantly committed to making a difference as a Locum. You will be working with young people who have committed an offence to provide early intervention and therefore prevent re-offending.

You will be required to meet with young people in care and other groups who are at risk of antisocial behaviour, to work with them to try to change their re-offending behaviour. This may involve supporting the individual with their school life, drug and alcohol advice, leisure activities or working with their family. This is a particularly hands on, rewarding role that offers a particular rate of pay.

You must have a DipSW or a Degree in Social Care, a current CRB and be registered with the GSCC.
