My client is a country house hotel seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join their team and assist them in achieving 2 AA rosettes within the next year.

If you are currently in Pastry and are looking for a progressive move in the right direction this is the position for you. Working in Pastry you will have experience working from an a la carte menu, making relevant desserts catering for all seasons, making various ranges of petit fours with scones, feeling confident making 'home-made' soufflés /tartes and parfaits.

At Chef de Partie level you feel confident running your section and looking potentially looking in time to progress into a more senior role. You will be able to utilize your skills and make suggestions to trial run your idea's onto the menu so imagination is required for this role.

The covers will vary from fine dining to banqueting covers up to 100. So being able to easily adapt to any demand in the kitchen would be essential. This kitchen is already at 1 AA rosette standard so applicants from this background would be preferred - but not essential.

For the right chef, a salary is on offer around the £18,000 per annum mark with an option of live in accommodation. Tip share will be variable dependent on revenue each month.

If applicants do not have transport do not worry - there is regular public transport links and is near a bustling town/Harbour nearby, which has local amenities, pub, local business stores and supermarkets.
