Product Development Technician
This highly successful manufacturing company is experiencing increasing growth and profitability especially in niche markets both at home and in export markets. To support this growth we looking for a Product Development Technician to provide technical support through laboratory work and Pilot Line investigations.This will cover design concept investigations in the laboratory, through scale up on the Pilot Line and full-scale trial manufacture on the primary manufacturing lines and converting linesAssessment of performance characteristics of concept samples at the laboratory pilot line and full-scale trial level by use quality test apparatus and in some cases external testing at accredited test houses.

Product Development Technician - Key Qualifications and skills

Educated to at least A Level / HNC or similar qualification or with equivalent experience working in a Product Development Design role or a related Technical Support role and with experience of working in an industrial / manufacturing environment. Good communication skills to enable liaison with Line personnel, external suppliers and customersGood computing skills to enable compilation of databases and information management, in particular ExcelWritten communication skills to provide accurate, concise reports and recommendationsSelf-motivated and enthusiasticThis role represents an excellent career opportunity working with a committed team in a high calibre and growth orientated organisation.
