Purple Penguin Wedding Design is a bespoke wedding consultancy based in Edinburgh.

We are looking to expand the business into Cornwall and are looking for a self-empolyed wedding planner. Experience is not necessary as we are looking for the following qualities:
well organised
outgoing
efficient
confident
passionate about weddings and enthusiastic
creative
good negotiating skills

The role will involve working on a freelance basis and variable hours. You must be willing to work evenings, weekends and unsociable hours in the summer months and public holidays. Purple Penguin will take care of all admin, accounts, marketing and advertising, but the successful applicant will be expected to help promote the brand at wedding fayres and distribute promotional literature on a local level.

Purple Penguin is a relatively new company, specialising in innovative ideas and inspiration so you must be a creative thinker! We would expect the successful applicant to be able to maintain good working relationships with suppliers, venues and service providers as well as bridal couples and their families.
