What about combining your next winter holidays with a running event ?

• The 5th edition of Trail Blanch’, a foot race in a natural snow-covered environment, will take place on the 18th of January 2009 in the French ski resort of Font-Romeu (Pyrénées Orientales).

• You can choose between 3 itineraries : 13km (8.1 miles) with 320m D+, 24km (14.9 miles) with 1300m D+ and, since 2007, the famous ultra trail of 51km (31.7 miles) with 2200m D+.

• The event is run by the French association ARAVO Aventure, now the reference in Europe in the organization of winter trails, and Trail Blanch’ is the only european ultra trail run at an average altitude of 1950m.

• In 2008, almost one thousand runners have experienced the real feeling of freedom in the wild landscape and powdery snow of Trail Blanch’. You can join them in 2009 !


New in 2009, on the 17th of January (the day before the Trail) :
• Caminada Blanca, a winter walk of 20km and 450m D+
• Croc Blanc, a free race for children (1.5km or 3km - 0.9 or 1.9 miles)

• Perpignan/Rivesaltes airport at 96km.
• Carcassonne airport at 127km.
• Barcelona airport at 175km.
• Toulouse airport at 185km.
• Gerona airport at 185km.
