Overview
My client is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join their small team, based on sea side location on the beautiful South West coast.
This establishment has a great vibe and great atmosphere all year round, including staff and customers.

A very experienced Chef de Partie who feels they can't progress any further or Sous Chef who has the passion and drive to take the restaurant to the next level.
This would be perfect for a chef wanting a new challenge and ability to 'prove themselves'.
Ideal candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure and be a team player.

Job Description
This role entails supporting the Head Chef and being responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved.
The Sous Chef will also be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety.

Required Experience
The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years experience at Chef de Partie level or higher within a similar operation.
Achieved all NVQ's up to level 2 in Food or Catering.


Salary and Benefits
My client is willing to pay the right person up to £17,000 per annum which also includes live in accommodation.
Also having the privilege to be part of this great team and fantastic location. No rosette experience is needed but producing food to a high standard is required.
