Section Engineer

Due to an expanding workload, our client is looking to recruit a number of Section Engineers to join their team in Wales.
Reporting to one of the Project Managers, you will actively contribute to the management of projects by providing engineering support, supervising construction activities on specific parts of the project while accurately recording relevant details of the construction process.
The post-holder will be responsible to the Senior/Chief Engineer for the following:
• Site visits and inspections to determine civil engineering aspects of planned work including temporary works.
• Technical advice to support specific projects.
• Supervising projects in terms of contract costs, quality, progress and client relationships.
• Assisting with the preparation and processing of estimates, bids and tenders.
• Individual and team development.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
