Coates stoneware Cider flagon,with 'cartoon' saying;Coates comes up from Somerset where Cider Apples grow,with 3 'farmer' type gents,complete with smocks and pitchfork,and sheep/dog?....the body is biscuit coloured with the top from the shoulders in pale green,with screw top and metal handle..it stands about 18 1/2" tall x 8 1/2" wide,complete with original tap!the only damage is a couple of TINY chinks by the tap...THE CRATE measures about 10 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 18" high,and has the 3/- on one side and Coates,Nailsea,Som on the other side and is in pretty good nick!I could probably send photos if you require..please feel free to email me with any questions....
