It Support Technician
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Technician (Desktop and Server) to join a very large and reputable company based in Plymouth. My client has recently won a contract which has resulted in this fantastic opening.
This is a key position and will require the successful candidate to provide 1st level support to users. This will include support for PC's, Laptops and Printers. In addition to desktop support you will be required to provide server support on Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 server. Your role will involve configuring, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading PC hardware and software.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, SQL 2005/2008, Windows XP Pro/ Vista Business and MS Office 2003 to 2007. In addition knowledge of wireless networks would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Microsoft MCDST and working towards a Microsoft MCSA qualification.
This excellent opportunity is offering a basic salary between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum with excellent benefits. If you are looking for a career within a fantastic organisation, look no further.
