Our client are looking for a driven Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join their expanding team in the Devon area, working with a professional and developing team the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a growing portfolio of clients.

The firm have gone from strength to strength over the last few years and have developed an excellent reputation within the Corporate and Commercial arena


Duties and Responsibilities:


Managing a varied caseload of Corporate Commercial business, including; Fundraising, Joint Ventures and Mergers and Acquisitions
Liaise with regional, National and International clients
Advise both Public and Private Sector Clients on Corporate / Commercial Issues
Provide Technical advice to partners and other fee earners within the team and associated Groups
Work closely with the Group leader to ensure all client needs and development opportunities are undertaken
Assist with the supervision and training of Trainee Solicitors


Skills:


Candidates should have a thorough grounding in Corporate Commercial law gained in a large regional or city firm and be looking to further their career and build a following
Knowledge of Mergers and Acquisitions, General Corporate Commercial and Commercial experience with the ability to manage cases from inception through to completion
Able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team on high value or public interest cases
Be able to manage and develop new and existing client relationships nationally and internationally
