We (Mike & Jez) are two guitarists who have been talking about getting a band together for years. We've both been playing a long time but never really made that final step. We're both in our late 30's and looking for musicians of a similar age or older. No Steve Vai wannabe whizzkids!

We're into rock and blues: Hendrix, SRV, Cream, etc. We both want to get back into playing more and are going to meet up for some regular jam sessions soon. These we will record somehow.

Basically what we're looking for is maybe a singer first of all, then will eventually need a drummer and bass player.

What I (Jez) would like to happen is: to find some musicians that we get on well with, for some no pressure jam sessions and just see what happens. Mike and I are both a bit rusty and need lots of practice/jam sessions before even considering doing gigs—which we both feel is some way off yet. So we want people who are in no rush to go out and play live. Just a bit of fun really to start with.

I am predominantly a blues guitarist but would like to explore other areas. We've mainly jammed covers in the past but I would really like to get together with a singer who writes their own stuff. Maybe someone who hasn't been in a band yet, someone who has only sung covers and not their own stuff. Basically someone kind of starting out with their own material. We don't want any seasoned gigging musicians or any pressure to go out and play. We want it very relaxed to begin with.

So in a nutshell what we want is musicians (singer first I think) although if you're a bassist or drummer please still get in touch, to get together with for some no pressure jams. Let's just play and see what happens.
