We are currently seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a Secondary School within the Plymouth area. In this position you will be working under the guidance of teaching staff implementing work programmes with whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

Responsiblities include supervising work that has been set, manage the behaviour of pupil, respond to questions from pupils, assist pupils to undertake activities set, collect complted work after lesson and return it to the appropriate teacher, report back as appropriate using the agreed referral procedures within the school.

Work experience with secondary aged pupils will be an advantage, you will be required to have Curriculum Knowledge of Core Subjects, good written and spoken English is crucial. It is essential that the suitable candidate will have proven behaviour/classroom management expereience and skills.

Candidates will hold one of the following qualifications: A Degree, a PGCE in FE, Overseas Qualified Teachers of TEFL Teacher.
