Hays Education is currently recruiting a Nursery Nurse for a Primary School based in the City Centre. The position is part time initially for 3 days per week but you should be flexible on working extra hours if required.

Qualifications and experience required:



- Must hold a recognised childcare qualification in accordance with OFSTED guidelines (i.e. NVQ 3 or equivalent)

- Have good literacy and numeracy skills

- Experience within the childcare industry

- A good theoretical and working knowledge or either Birth to Three or the Foundation Stage

- Excellent childcare legislative knowledge

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to plan and organise

- Ability to delegate when necessary

- Committed to maintaining high standards

- Flexible and Team Player

- Good initiative

- Caring, Friendly, responsible and reliable. The role is based within a challenging inner-city school and ideal Nursery Nurse should have experience working within a similar environment and be able to interact well with parents.
